About The People’s Pulse
If you find yourself constantly frustrated with mainstream media, reporters beholden to corporate interests, and never hearing about the stories that truly matter on the big-name stations, you've come to the right place.
Welcome to The People’s Pulse, where we offer journalism by the people, for the people. Founded by Brandon Clark, the host of Social Society w/Brandon Clark, we are now expanding into new areas of media. Our goal is to bring Brandon’s in-depth writing style into new forms to cover political issues both domestically and abroad.
Through compelling op-eds, podcasts, interviews, and thought-provoking columns, we aim to represent the voice of the voiceless. This is a newsletter that is genuinely tapped into the pulse of the people—not influenced by corporate money or dictated by what’s “acceptable” to say. While we may not always agree, our aim is to challenge you to open up to different perspectives and rethink your view of the political landscape.
That’s all we ask here.
The People’s Pulse is about leveling the playing field, ensuring accountability in reporting, and staying true to the truth—even when it's hard to do so. More than just about politics—whether left or right—our focus is on understanding that the real battle is not about ideology but about power dynamics: top vs. bottom.
If you’re still reading and considering signing up, we encourage you to also think about a paid membership. We do not accept corporate money or influence, which is what allows us to remain independent. With a paid membership, you’ll gain access to bonus content not available to free subscribers.
Expect at least one post a day, typically around 12 p.m. EST, although this may vary on holidays or depending on the project.
As we continue to grow, we will diversify our content, contributors, and overall output. Here’s to a great year of independent media!
